Terp Thon raises money and awareness for Children’s National Hospital, our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. As the largest student-run philanthropy in the state of Maryland, we host many events throughout the school year to unite our campus and community in our cause. These events lead up to our largest celebration, our Dance Marathon, which is seen as a tradition on our campus. Participants join our Miracle Families for a day full of dancing, games, performances, and many miracles! Over the past 12 years, we have raised over $5.7 Million and are so excited to continue spreading our movement.
Our Miracle Kids are past or present patients at Children's National Hospital and bring so much inspiration and passion to thousands of college students and our community. We are forever changed by their stories and are so lucky to have them as part of our Terp Thon family!
