Our Hospital
With a health care experience designed around kids’ unique needs, Children’s National Hospital is the premier provider of pediatric services in the Washington, D.C., metro area and the area’s only health system specializing in kids. Last year, Children’s National saw more than 200,000 children from the nation’s capital, Maryland, and Virginia as well as from across the country and around the world.
Terp Thon raises money and awareness for Children’s National Hospital, our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. As the largest student-run philanthropy in the state of Maryland, we host many events throughout the school year to unite our campus and community in our cause. These events lead up to our largest celebration, our Dance Marathon, which is seen as a tradition on our campus. Participants join our Miracle Families for a day full of dancing, games, performances, and many miracles! Over the past 12 years, we have raised over $5.7 Million for the patients at Children's National Hospital and are so excited to continue spreading our movement.
