Mini Marathons

Overview

Last year, Terp Thon partnered with five local schools to help facilitate their mini events run by the students and faculty. These students, like Terp Thon, raise money for Children’s National Health System, meet Miracle Families from the community, and engage in many fun, exciting, and inclusive activities at the event. These events help students gain hands on experience with leadership and civic responsibility, and assist them in making great connections with the University and themselves. These dedicated students were recognized on-stage at Terp Thon 2016. Thank you to these schools and students for helping make miracles for the patients and families at Children’s National!

In this upcoming year, we are looking forward to helping more local schools create their own Mini event.
